This is honestly really good probably since it wasn't super processed. Older style 90s 00s stuff is pretty raw and straightforward which gives its charm.

How quickly can you turn up and down the volume - can you do it in one twist so you can get almost as fast as a line fader for quick transitions if needed? I'm tempted to get the xfader version just for more versatility but might not be necessary.

I have these frequency options to adjust on my AVR; 63Hz 125Hz 250Hz 500Hz 1kHz 2kHz 4kHz 8kHz 16kHz Voices sound a bit thin / tinny and lack depth. Can you recommend what I might try using these options?
